I was in Arizona over Thanksgiving at our super secret training facility and took a picture of the ostriches… I’ve been looking for an opportunity to post this somewhere and this seemed as good a place as any…..  They are vicious beasties…. I’m just glad they don’t eat meat.

 Anyway, I hope everyone is training hard. It’s been a great week to be out riding. I’ve been hitting the Mari’s (Cafe diTazzo) ride on Saturdays with the guys and the ridings been great. This last week we headed out Washougal River road and hit some of the hills out there. It was a bit windy as we crested Mt. Norway, there was probably a 40 mph crosswind and we were all at about a 45 degree angle to the road trying to not be blown into the ditch… Good stuff….  Monday I went out and climbed up Washington Larch Mountain. Here’s a few shots of the day..

It sure took less time getting down that it did to get up there. I managed to get some interval work in during my lunch hour yesterday, it’s hard to believe it’s still January! Hope all your training is going well!!
